May 2011
Every year
"Stavanger Dykkerklubb" spend the weekend 1th. of may at
Vikholmen lighthouse, south of Skudesneshavn at Karmøy.
This is an excellent place for both wreck and nature diving. The
wrecks of "Ulenhorst" and "Dresden" are not far away from the
lighthouse.
The gallery
contains some pictures from the trips the latest four years.

One week liveaboard with "Stavanger
Dykkerklubb" in the Red sea, Egypt. On the schedule: Wrecks! We
were seven divers from the club, in total twelve on the boat.
The dives were great, but some of the wrecks were quite crowded
with divers, especially the famous "S.S Thistlegorm".
Thistlegorm is the best known wreck in the Red Sea, and sank the
6th. of october 1941 after a hit by a German bomb. The ship was
loaded with jeeps, motorcycles, locomotives, trucks and much
more for the British.
It was also time
for some nature dives, and nightdives. All in all a great trip!

June 2010
The main intention with the trip was diving in the crystal clear freshwater of Silfra and Þingvallavatn in
Þingvallir, and at the great Strytan outside Akureyri. But there
were much more: Puffins at the
enormous Latrabjarg, beautiful waterfalls, Lake Myvatn, geysirs,
enormous beaches
and so on. Iceland is a fantastic place, and one week was
not enough!

Capercaillie
Lek!
Three early
mornings with display, fighting and mating. Truly the most
exciting adventure of the spring! The highlight was mating only
a few meters from the camouflage. Only the light conditions was
a litle better...

Muskox.
New trip to
the valley Nystugudalen on Dovre. This time the weather in
periods was quite misty, which gave some exciting photo
conditions.
